EBRAAM is Golbon Moltaji's attempt to express her emotional state during the first 24 hours following the death of her father in 2020.
She felt an obligation to write music about her father not only because he was the first with whom she would sing as a child, but because death, is nothing to be seen, it is something to be heard.

"I am not at peace with him not being around, as much as I was not, with being close to him. We hurt each other as any parent and offspring would. He kept shedding a big part of him that would fight on, the part I feel that lives uncomfortably in me".

* EBRAAM is the colloquial pronunciation of my father’s middle name; Ebrahim.
